Member of the Paris Bar, Olivia earns a Master’s degree in Business Law (University of Orleans) and a Master’s degree in Information Technology Law (University of Strasbourg).
Olivia has always been interested in legal theorisation. She worked as a lecturer in Civil Law (contract law & tort law,) for the University of Orleans from which she was also graduated with a PhD degree.
She consequently still regularly publishes articles mainly on IT Law issues, notably for LexisNexis, and is frequently featured speaker in conferences.
Olivia developed both law firm and in-house experience: she joined a law firm where she developed specific expertise in IP Law litigation and drafting contracts, worked as in-house counsel in a communication agency in Toulouse and was nominated legal officer at the Syntec informatique, the French Union of Software Services Companies.
She therefore had the opportunity to handle with all kinds of legal issues related to IP/IT Law both on the lawyer ‘s and on the client’s side
Olivia is a member of the AFPIDA (the French part of ALAI Association Littéraire et Artistique Internationale).
Olivia joined Staub & Associés as a partner in September 2009, and mainly assists her clients on IP/ IT Law especially in drafting contracts.
Olivia is 40 years old. She spends most of her free time with her 8-year-old daughter.
