In addition to solid experience built over 11 years, Igor holds a Master’s degree in business law (Paris II-Assas University), a higher certificate in international commercial law and taxation (FNDE, Montpellier I University) and a Master’s certificate in business and taxation law (Paris II-Assas University).

Prior to joining the firm, he served at Sokolow Dunaud Mercadier & Carreras and Brandford-Griffith Baverez Cotty, and later participated in the creation of Sarrau Thomas Couderc in May 2005.

Igor Doumenc has extensive experience in the fields of private equity (including LBO and management packages), mergers & acquisitions (of listed and non-listed companies) and corporate finance (financing contracts; senior, mezzanine and junior debts; security packages). 

Igor also assists clients in issues relating to negotiations for international commercial contracts with regard to joint-ventures and consortiums, as well as contracts for business concessions and international partnerships (PPP, BOT, DBOM)

Over the past years, Igor has been advising several professional investors, both French and foreign (investment funds, business angels, family offices, CIF, etc.), emerging growth companies, SMBs and industrial groups, as well as entrepreneurs and management teams. In particular, he participated in large infrastructure projects in South Africa, Algeria and South Korea.
 

Igor is bilingual French/English, speaks Russian fluently and has strong international cultural outlook.

He regularly publishes articles in the media.

Igor, 37 years old, is married with two children. He enjoys activities such as swimming and scuba diving, culinary arts, wine and cigars.
