Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2006, Marine Roussannes holds Master’s degree in Business and Economic Law from Paris I – Pantheon Sorbonne University (2004), prior to which she had obtained a Master’s certificate in Business Law from Paris II – Pantheon Assas University (2001). Marine Roussannes also graduated from Audencia Management School in Nantes after majoring in management, auditing and accounting control (2003). She worked for two years in the Paris office of Allen & Overy’s banking and finance team, led by Christophe Jacquemin. During this period, she acted on several cases relating to banking law, such as acquisition finance, real estate finance (drafting and negotiating contracts for credit and securities) and securitisation (conducting audits, bank loans transfer documents, securities, drafting the financial paperwork, legal advisory).
Early 2008, Marine joined Eversheds LLP in Paris where she served in the firm’s corporate department. During this period she acquired M&A skills (participating in various national and international corporate disposal operations, acquisitions, restructuring and shareholding operations, legal structuring of operations, drafting the relevant documents, data room, conducting audits). She also acted on general corporate law issues (monitoring clients’ day-to-day legal administrative issues, legal consulting, pre-litigation advice).
Marine joined Staub & Associés in July 2010.
